The Basics. To visit Kilbeggan Distillery, join an on-site guided tour. Take the 1-hour Apprentice Tour for a tasting; 1.5-hour Distillers Tour for a meet-and-greet and tasting; 2-hour Artisan Tour for premium whiskey samples and cheese; and 3-hour Connoisseur Experience for an all-access tour, lunch, and premium tastings.

It is owned by Beam Suntory. A small pot still distillery, the licence to distil dates to 1757, a copy of which can be seen in the distillery.

Established in 1757, Kilbeggan is Ireland's oldest licensed distillery - after stopping production in 1957, it has been producing whiskey again since 2007. Its basic one-hour Apprentice tour includes three tastings. The 90-minute Distillers tour also visits the old warehouses and distillers, finishing with four tastings.
